The last one still catches me out. A decade working with Amazon, first inside it and then on this side of it.

Three days in Seattle, nine sessions, one very full notebook. The thing I keep coming back to isn't a single announcement. It's that almost everything shown was built for the person doing the checking. The one who catches the suppressed listing on a Tuesday morning, notices the chargebacks creeping up, spots that a lead time has drifted.

That work never gets credit, and it's the work that holds an account together. Good to see it taken seriously.
